Our philosophy is to provide affordable opportunities to as many children in the community as possible. We recognise that our juniors are the future of the club and introduce them to senior tennis as soon as they are competent and mature enough to cope.
Club sessions take place on Tuesday and Thursday nights, Wednesday mornings, Saturday afternoons and Sunday mornings. All sessions are popular and well attended so you can always be sure of a game. We operate a ladder peg system so that everyone mixes in and can be guaranteed a game when they turn up.
To get you started, or back into the swing of things, we have regular organised group coaching sessions to teach you the basics and be able to play at club sessions. Contact our coaching team for more information on group or individual sessions.
Monday nights are dedicated to singles games. Also, our mens and ladies teams have match practice nights – ladies on Monday nights, men on Wednesday nights.
For higher standard players we support teams competing in the Aegon National Club League and the Berkshire Leagues. Training sessions dedicated to team play are arranged throughout the week.
Members can come along and play on an ad-hoc or regular basis for singles or doubles play when courts are free.
We have a timetable available so that you can work out when there may be a quieter time to play. This will be updated for each coaching term and playing season.
We have a number of mens, ladies and mixed teams who continue to have great success within the Berkshire and National Aegon leagues.
