Caversham Park Tennis Club has six courts with floodlights and a large clubhouse which has just been completed. These facilities mean that tennis can be enjoyed all year round.
Caversham Park Tennis Club is an extremely friendly club that welcomes players from all levels. For juniors and adults who are new to the game or are returning to the game there is comprehensive training available through Gary Drake Tennis Coaching. For those who enjoy playing at club sessions there are chances to play throughout the week. For those who wish to play at a more competitive level there are a number of mens, ladies and mixed teams who continue to have great success within the Berkshire leagues.
Caversham Park Tennis Club was formed in 1969 when club members used local public and school courts to enjoy their tennis. In 1979 four tennis courts at the Clayfield Copse location were built along with a wooden clubhouse which opened in 1980.
In 2009 we received funding from the Tennis Foundation to build a new clubhouse as well as upgrade to 6 floodlight courts, and now the club has some of the best facilities in the local area.

Adult club sessions are held on Tuesday and Thursday from 6.00pm onwards, Wednesday from 10.00am, Saturday afternoon from 12.00pm, and Sunday mornings from 10.00am onwards.

We are registered as a place to play with the LTA so you don’t have to be a member to come and play at Caversham Park but you can come and “pay and play” when there is a free court. We do ask that you consider joining the club once you’ve been along to play 3 times in any year.
Fees for Pay and Play are £6/court for an hour, or £10 when using floodlights.

We have been awarded Beacon status, due to our commitment to providing affordable tennis to the local community. 
Roger Draper awarded Caversham Park Tennis Club with Beacon status as part of the AEGON Parks Tennis programme, delivered in partnership with the LTA and Tennis Foundation. This is in recognition of our high quality and affordable community tennis programme run in partnership with GDT.
Caversham Park is delighted to be awarded both Clubmark and Beacon status - both of which would not have been possible without the hard work of our committee and coaching team.
